Spain is inside the EU customs union. Post-Brexit, we file the UK export declaration before the lorry leaves Bromley; your goods then enter the EU at the Channel under a transit declaration and are cleared for import at a customs office in Spain, where we lodge the import declaration. Transfer-of-residence relief covers the import VAT for genuine relocations; you provide your passport, NIE (Spanish foreigner identification number) where you have one, proof of Spanish address, and a signed inventory.
